From The Edge Of Nowhere (and back again) is a collection of poetry about Wales, England and travelling between the two – something I’ve done a lot of over the years. It’s my third poetry collection – you can find out about the first two here.
It’s available in ebook version and paperback, at Smashwords and on Amazon.
Here is a poem from the collection:
station street
darkened trains
with broken strips of light
and a silent
nervous night attitude
turn away
to your newspapers
old information now.
between platforms
here’s a void
threatening to pull people in
or pull them together
onto the tracks
cold air, cool metal.
in the darkness
it’s seductive to the sane.
the sunday night
city lights
are a shock
when you finally leave.
