Poetry: Pinpricks

Stars are
pinpricks of heat and light
that burn.
We are
desperate moths blind and lost,
abandoned,
Clear nights
call to us, beckon us with a
whisper,
we can’t resist it
the desperate pull.
Stars are
pinpricks of heat and light
that burn,
until we are
turned away.
Abandoned.

  1. Hi, I was browsing through the A to Z Challenge lineup and found your blog. This is a lovely poem, I liked the way it flowed. πŸ™‚

  2. I also liked your poem. I found you because of your interest in Love Lost & Found. Good luck with this year’s Valentine Day and may it be a wonderful day for you.
