Version three of QLF’s Pride flags 101, updated for 2020. There are now 63 flags featured, up from the 36 featured on the previous version. As before I’ve added suggestions from the queer community, reaching out in more groups than last time.
I’ve added the version notes below as usual.

Notes
- I don’t want to get into a discussion about the need for the POC/Philly Pride flag with white people. If you’re white and have a problem with it remember two things. One, it’s not for you (us). Two, POC people want this, so it exists and is included. If POC LGBTQIA+ people want to discuss the flag with me (pros and cons) then feel free.
- I haven’t included the ally flag and won’t be.
- Not all intersex people consider themselves a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but some do, that is enough for its inclusion.
- I’ve added the labrys lesbian and relabled it and the new official lesbian flag.
- I’ve left the lipstick lesbian flag in place even though the creator is racist and transphobic as all hell. isrhere’s a couple of problems with And the creator of that flag is also transphobic. You are still going to see it around and education is key.
- You are valid.
- You are loved.
If your flag isn’t here – let me know. Either in a comment or via email. I know there are and could be hundreds of flags, sexual orientation and gender are diverse things and ever evolving.
Questions, let me know.
Share the hell out of this.

What a nice array of different orientations.
No Intersex? I went to a talk on Minority Stress and on the panel there was an intersex person and they really opened my eyes to how little I knew, and how terrible their abuses where by the medical system and just general inequality (in Australia, at least – Malta was mentioned as banning the surgery at birth). Anyway, they mentioned they were often invisible, and here in the flags they are missing? I’m literally blown away at how oblivious you can be to something until it’s pointed out to you, and then you see it everywhere! (by you I mean ME obviously) #KCACOLS
I would love to have been at that talk. I’ve not intentionally left it out, I just haven’t made it into a badge yet. Or I hadn’t when I made this infographic at least.
Hi! I’m pretty sure it is gynosexual and androsexual now. Not gynophelia and androphilia. It’s not really a big deal but just letting you know cause it’s a bit out dated 🙂
Think this is an awesome idea. Always feel terribly uneducated when I come and visit your blog! But there’s something to be said about learning something by reading people’s posts. Thanks for sharing #KACACOLS
I think my kids probably know all these but I’m not at all sure what they all are. Love all the pretty colours though! #KCACOLS
I, too, am not sure what these all are but love how pretty they look!
#KCACOLS
Now that’s a lot of flags! I hope you continue to raise awareness through the badges. #kcacols
Wow I think I am behind the times but every day is a learning day, well done for raising awareness in such clever way #KCACOLS
I love the badges. I am not sure what all of the words mean though…
thank you for sharing. Pen x #KCACOLS
A few years ago at work (i’m a teacher) we had a student who left one year as one gender and came back as another so we had training on how to support and deal with any possible comments/actions from other children. I found it eye opening and massively interesting. I remember some of the above from it. I’m also a face painter and the colours made me thing of my paint cakes and made me want to work at pride to create all the beautiful colours! #KCACOLS
Excellent, Bread. Way to open the discussion that is needed! #KCACOLS Oh, and Happy Pride! xoxo
I love these, I do have to admit I don’t what all of these mean yet which obviously shows why we need something like this #kcacols
I have to admit I’ve no idea what half of these are, but it’s great to put up blog posts educating people! #KCACOLS
This is very interesting. I had no idea that there were so many different flags, all with their own meanings. I had thought myself fairly educated about such things, but I guess there is still a lot to learn. Thanks for the heads up. #KCACOLS
A great idea to have the flags as badges! I’ll be sharing this on Facebook! #kcacols
Oh wow…who knew! I mean I didn’t realise there were actually so many categories for people to define themselves. I’m so interested in reading more about what each term means. I have read your explanations before but there are certainly a lot more here than I realised.

Hi, ai don’t know if this is still gettibg updated, but ai miss the flag of my best friend, she’s abrosexual, and the flag hat pinks, white and greens in it, its really nice
Well this is informative – I had no idea! Sounds like your list will be growing too #KCACOLS
I’m really glad these people are getting more recognition. They need more support in fighting discrimination especially in the work place.
Great way to raise awareness Bread, thank you for sharing 🙂 #kcacols
Wow – I don’t know what a lot of these mean but YAY for all the different options! #KCACOLS
Can you add the omnisexual flag, I know its almost the same as pansexual but it is very diferent and also quite underrated. Its a pretty flag tho and I would like to see it be more included 🙂
That’s a whole lot of flags! I’m not sure who it’s helpful for, but if you feel part of a community and want to have a flag for it, then why not, I guess? Personally, I’ve probably been a bit put off using symbols, colours etc due to all the conflicts and division in the autism community about what colours and symbols to use. #KCACOLS
Wow. Some of these I wasn’t aware of. Thank you for spreading awareness. #KCACOLS
Popping back again via #KCACOLS
That is a lot of flags. It is great that you are bringing more awareness to them x
#KCACOLS
Well, I have a bit of research to do – I need to educate myself on what some of these are! Love the use of flags to raise awareness. #KCACOLS
I have no clue what some of these flags are for, but I do think it’s neat that you’re making others aware of the different groups. #kcacols
I remember the first time you posted this! Glad to see the number of flags is increasing! #KCACOLS
I had no idea there were so many flags! #KCACOLS
I would love to see the panromantic ace flag!
Is there a questioning flag?
WOW there are a lot of flags
Idk if it’s that important since there’s already the Aromantic and Asexual flags, but there’s also a flag for AroAce if you want to include that 🙂
Hi, I don’t know if this is still getting updated, but I miss the flag of my best friend, she’s abrosexual, and the flag hat pinks, white and greens in it, its really nice
