June Word Count

Better than last month but no where near what I would like for a month, and less than I would’ve liked for last month. I started June off really well, hit my word count every day for the first week. Then I sorta wained, even though I wrote three blog posts and some poems.

I still haven’t finished my current Queer lady in the lake WIP, but I am making progress. We’re getting towards the end certainly. It’s currently sitting at around 8k words. I’m predicting it will end up being between 12-15k in the end. Then I’ll move onto the myth.

What I Wrote This Month

Around 4k words on my Queer lady in the lake story.

The following blog posts for QLF:

I’m also doing a poetry form writing challenge on writing.com – a different form every week. I’m not going to lie, I am a couple of weeks behind, but week three was a doozy. This is what I’ve written so far:

  • Poetry Form: Monchielle Stanza
  • Poetry Form: Rictameter
  • Poetry Form: Cywydd Llosgyrnog

I’ve also written one fanfiction for an exchange but they’ve not been revealed yet and started another that I may or may not finish!

This Month

Camp NaNoWriMo badge - a sun over some mountains.

July is Camp NaNoWriMo again, so I’m going to be working on my novel again – I wrote about 8k words on it in April,s so if I manage that I’ll be happy. I, of course, will be writing posts for QLF, poems for my form challenge and whatever else comes to mind but my novel is my focus.
